Nihil: My Webdev Projects

Hi! This website hosts projects that I am developing over time in my journey to learning Web Development! So far it is quite simple but I hope the home page improves, along with the projects I'll display!

  1. One piece poster

    • This project allowed me to experiment with text formating, divs and boxes. The main challenge was to understand where to put what information.

    • I realised late that I should put the font-familly, font colors, and text allign into the main div so that it would be applied to all elements.

    • I learnt how to properly allign images and how to use divs as containers using flexbox

  2. French flag

    • In this part I practiced with positioning and creating shapes

    • Centering elements is challenging but to fix issues I learnt to use vh and margin: auto to fill flex box

  3. Make the cat slimmer!

    • This was a great and fun way to learn about media querries and responsive websites.

    • You have to make the page narrower to help the cat get slimmer.

  4. Pricing table

    • This was directly inspured from a Udemy course pricing table exercise

    • I had to use flexbox in order to make dynamic pricing option boxes that automatically adapt to the window size

  5. Mondrian-painting

    • This was another exercise from the Udemy course which helped me practice grid

  6. Bootsrap portfolio website

    • This is a portfolio website I made using Bootstrap

    • It was quite challenging and tought me a lot about bootstrap but also CSS. I think I will need to spend time understanding all the classes of bootstrap to become more profficient
